Flex360 LTD are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior EHCP Writer / QA Lead to support the delivery of a high-volume EHCP service on behalf of a Local Authority client.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEND professional with strong knowledge of EHCP processes, statutory requirements and quality assurance to join a growing and supportive team delivering high-quality EHCP documentation and SEND support services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing EHCP quality, supporting writers, undertaking quality assurance reviews and acting as a senior escalation point for complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Quality assurance review of EHCPs to ensure statutory compliance, accuracy and quality
• Providing support, guidance and feedback to EHCP writers
• Reviewing complex cases and supporting escalations where required
• Liaising with operational management and supporting service delivery oversight
• Ensuring plans are clear, outcome-focused and appropriately evidence-based
• Supporting consistency of practice across the delivery team
• Monitoring quality standards and identifying areas for improvement
Requirements:
• Significant experience within SEND and EHCP processes
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation and statutory timescales
• Previous experience reviewing, writing or coordinating EHCPs
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Experience within Local Authority SEND services, SENCO roles or EHCP coordination highly desirable
• Ability to manage workload within a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong safeguarding awareness and understanding of multi-agency working
Desirable:
• SENCO qualification or equivalent SEND leadership experience
• Previous QA, management or supervisory experience
• Experience supporting tribunal or complex EHCP cases
Location: Hertford Office Preferred / Remote Considered
Contract Type: Ongoing Contract / Flexible Engagement
Rate: £28–£32 per hour DOE
