Job Description:
Following new opportunities to grow our estate management portfolios, we are looking for qualified chartered surveyors to join our friendly and ambitious rural teams across our Cambridge, Harrogate, Oxford, Marlborough and Winchester offices, working alongside property professionals. Our offices handle the full range of rural surveying, including estate management, property agency, valuations, rural grant applications, compensation, landlord and tenant matters, and delivering national framework contracts throughout the South, East, and North regions.
We offer a highly competitive salary package with a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible options such as additional leave, health cash plans, and a cycle-to-work scheme. We welcome applications from those seeking flexible or agile working arrangements, which can be discussed during the application process.
* Provide professional advice to a diverse portfolio of estate and land-owning clients.
* Act as the primary contact for existing clients, managing relationships to meet their professional needs and providing sound, reasoned advice.
* Manage rural estates and property portfolios, offering strategic advice, drafting agreements, negotiating deals, and providing property-related services.
* Collaborate with Partners to identify and develop new business opportunities.
* Work closely with other specialist teams to deliver and expand fee-generating services.
* Assist in developing efficient internal systems and processes, optimizing IT and resources.
* Ensure compliance with legal, professional, and corporate standards in all work.
* Support pitch reporting and client presentations.
What will it take to be successful?
You should be a chartered surveyor with a proven track record in rural professional and estate management services, and experience in building client relationships. We value enthusiasm, integrity, and a proactive attitude. The ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and work collaboratively is essential. We also encourage participation in team development and continuous self-improvement.
