Working Pattern: Typically 5 days in office, with core hours flexible between 8am-6pm.

With our online business constantly growing, Total Platform continuing to strengthen and our retail stores remaining distinguished for our customer base, our buyers have a big responsibility to create attractive and profitable product ranges across the business. They collaborate with our Designers, Merchandisers and Technologists to put together stylish new collections for every season.
Your role
Support buying, developing, and reviewing seasonal ranges. Key responsibilities include formulating proposals for range restructuring, considering market opportunities and trends. Autonomously handle the Boyswear range and assist with swimwear. Confidently present ranges to management and senior stakeholders.
Develop and plan commercially successful ranges considering sales data, price architecture, and brand DNA. Communicate design briefs, considering price, quality, and lead times. Analyse sales data and trends to identify new opportunities. Plan and manage meetings to quickly resolve issues. Maintain progress systems and meet critical deadlines. Build productive relationships with external suppliers. This role goes beyond individual contribution; you will also be responsible forsupervising and mentoring more junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them thrive. About you
Are you highly organised and able to proactively manage a wide range of responsibilities throughout the development process? Can you balance multiple priorities with ease? We're looking for an exceptional communicator and negotiator with a keen understanding of margin and costs.
Beyond that, we need someone with a true passion for menswear. You'll live and breathe men's fashion, possess an innate understanding of current and emerging trends, and be ready to bring exciting newness to our ranges. A deep knowledge of competitor brands and what's performing well in the market is essential to driving our success.
If you're a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, busy, and challenging environment, this role is for you. You'll build rapport with members of your immediate and wider teams, bringing a competitive edge and a desire to learn and develop skills to drive the range forward and deliver positive sales. With a keen eye for detail and process, and experience as an Assistant Buyer with some exposure to senior level, you'll be driven to progress with autonomy and have the confidence to present ideas to Directors and management teams within the business.
