A great opportunity has come up to join an established FMCG business in Malton as a Commercial Executive.
You will work closely with the commercial team, supporting the Senior National Account Manager, playing a key role in keeping sales activity on track, accurate and insight led. This is not a cold calling or target driven sales role, it focuses on data analysis, structured sales support and providing insight that helps the team make informed decisions.
Some of the Commercial Executive duties include:
1. Day to day administrative support to the account management team.
2. Pulling together sales reports, working with data and providing KPIs and performance insight.
3. Keeping pricing up to date and maintaining accurate customer and internal system records.
4. Supporting forecasting work, promotional planning and seasonal activity.
5. Reviewing sales patterns, highlighting opportunities and areas of concern.
6. Monitoring competitor behaviour and wider market changes.
7. Working closely with supply chain, finance, marketing and operations to support cross functional activity.
The Ideal Candidate will:
8. Be confident working with numbers, sales data and performance information.
9. Have a background in roles such as Commercial Assistant, Account Executive, Junior Sales Executive or Sales Administrator.
10. Ideally have experience within an FMCG, food or retail environment.
11. Be comfortable supporting a sales function, handling data, forecasting and interpreting trends.
12. Enjoy working collaboratively across sales, marketing, supply chain and NPD.
This is a full-time role working hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility on start and finish times, earning a salary between £33,000-£36,000 depending on experience.
