About The Role
Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant Restaurant & Quick Serve department in beautiful Bognor Regis! This is a fantastic opportunity for a fixed-term maternity cover role lasting 12 months.
As you report to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in running our kitchen and leading a dynamic team of up to 10 members per shift. At the heart of our values is the mission to make our guests smile, and you’ll ensure this happens consistently by keeping guests at the center of all operational decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Resource planning and recruitment to build the best team for exceptional service.
* Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
* Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adherence to cooking standards.
* Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.
Typical working hours: This role is based on 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days out of 7, with a variety of shifts between 7 AM and 3 AM, depending on the restaurant's opening hours.

* Qualified: You should have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
As with any chef role at this level, you’ll also be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
