Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of those you care for.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life
* Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate medication records
* Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences
* Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs and monitor their progress
* Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
* Support clients with behaviour management strategies as needed
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
* Document changes in client condition and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required
Qualifications
* Previous experience in caregiving, nursing home, or assisted living environments is preferred
* Knowledge of medical terminology and case management practices is advantageous
* Certification in first aid is highly desirable
* Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
* Ability to follow care plans accurately while adapting to changing needs
* Valid driving licence for transporting clients when necessary

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
