Job Title: Secondary Cover Teacher

Salary: £100 - £130 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are searching for a flexible and reliable Secondary Cover Teacher to support a secondary school in Waterlooville. This rewarding role offers a great opportunity to teach across different subjects.
You will step in when teachers are absent, making sure learning continues smoothly. You don’t need to plan lessons – just deliver the work that’s already prepared and help students stay on track.
Your Role Will Include:
* Covering lessons in various subjects as needed.
* Delivering set work and keeping the class focused.
* Managing behaviour in a calm and respectful way
* Following school routines and expectations.
* Supporting students in their learning during cover lessons.
What We’re Looking For:
* A recognised teaching qualification like QTS is preferred.
* Previous experience in a secondary school is helpful.
* Good classroom control and clear communication.
* Willing to teach across subjects and year groups.
* Experienced teachers who want a better work-life balance are welcome to apply.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service, or readiness to apply through GSL Education
