A new opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join an expanding business based in Norwich. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to join a friendly, collaborative office environment within a larger organisation that operates across multiple sites in Norfolk.
Working as part of a small office and training team, you will support the Accounts Department with a broad range of responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills and a desire to grow within a supportive business.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain purchase ledger and reconcile supplier statements
* Process and post sales invoices
* Review and manage debtors and creditors
* Generate monthly statements and reports
* Process expense claims and company credit card statements
* Perform data entry and bank reconciliations
* Consolidate multi-site accounts and assist in producing reporting hierarchy
* Liaise with external payroll provider
* Identify areas to streamline and improve processes
Person Specification:
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Prior experience in an accounts or finance support role
* Xero experience is a plus (but not essential)
* High attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Strong communication and organisational skills
