Experience Designer - Top of Funnel for Argos/ Habitat/ Tu - Midweight

The role:
You'll be working on Sainsbury's products within our General Merchandising team, which are mostly focused on our end to end digital experiences. We take 1.2 billion transactions from our customers each year, which gives you an idea of the scale and complexity of the space you'll be working in. You'll get to work on our digital experiences across Argos, Habitat and Tu, new product launches and work closely with our in-store teams to ensure a truly excellent end to end experience for our customers. In your product team, you'll lead the research, design and testing of new ideas, your aim will be to understand our customers and the problems they face. The changes you make will impact millions of customers in one of the UK's largest retailers.

* Design and test concepts and solutions

* Work within agile teams to get your solutions in to the hands of our customers
What we're looking for:
Industry experience as a UX or Product is essential. As are the core technical skills outlined in the role details above. Alongside this, we're looking for certain behaviours and competency skills. These skills will help you thrive in a dynamic team like ours.

* Strong visual, interface and interaction design skills
* Expertise designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma
* Capable of conducting research and interpreting results
* Knowledge of how to design inclusively

* Taking the initiative and driving change

Essential Criteria:
* Industry experience as a UX or Product Designer
* Ability to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure all business requirements are met
* Skilled in planning and conducting user research and distilling findings into actionable insights
* Proficient in applying UX fundamentals, including insight gathering, workshop facilitation, information architecture, Interface and interaction design and clearly documented design artifacts
