Join Rotherham Investment and Development Office (RiDO) and help shape an exciting future for the borough.
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Investment Promotions Officer to join our team supporting the long-term sustainable economic growth of the Rotherham economy.
The role will have responsibility for attracting and retaining investment to drive job creation and foster economic prosperity in Rotherham, focussing on:-
* Supporting the development and implementation of strategies to promote inward investment opportunities.
* Acting as the primary point of contact, building a pipeline of investment leads and maintaining relationships with investors.
* Responding promptly and effectively to investment enquiries.
* Co-ordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the investment process and overcome barriers to investment.
* Conducting market research and analysis.
* Preparing investment proposals, presentations, and marketing.
* Representing Rotherham at conferences, trade shows, networking events, and investor meetings.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.
