Role and Facility Information
Northern Health seeks a Family Physician for Primary Care and Emergency Room coverage in Chetwynd, BC. Join a newly built 6000 sq ft facility with a state-of-the-art Primary Care Clinic, offering APP (Alternative Payment Plan) compensation.
The clinic features Inter-Professional Teams (IPT) including Mental Health & Addictions, Community Nursing, and Public Health, with space for visiting specialties such as Occupational Therapy and Respiratory Therapy.
This model emphasizes patient-centered care that is accessible, coordinated, comprehensive, and continuous, with a focus on quality improvement and patient safety.
The Chetwynd Hospital provides 7 long-term and 5 acute care beds, offering services like 24/7 Emergency, Medical Inpatient, Palliative Care, and Respiratory Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
* Vacation Leave: Negotiable
* Additional remuneration options available, including:
* Retention Premium: 25.06%
* Retention Flat Fee: $38,836
* Relocation Funding: $9,000 to $15,000 (TBD)
* Recruitment Incentive: $20,000
Other benefits include Rural Education Action Plan (REAP), Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME), and moving allowances based on origin. RSA funding is subject to change.
