Licensing Support Officer – Plymouth City Council
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Licensing Support Officer to work in the Taxi Licensing Team. The team sits within the Environmental Health and Licensing department providing a regulatory service to keep residents safe and well.
This role involves processing applications for taxi licences as well as carrying out our various checks to ensure any new or existing licence holder meets the Council's policy requirements throughout the course of their licence. It is a busy team, and you will work alongside other Licensing Support Officers in addition to Taxi Licensing Officers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Processing taxi licence applications
* Conducting checks to ensure policy compliance
* Engaging with applicants at council offices
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Qualifications and skills:
* Proven administrative experience
* Excellent IT skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy team environment
* Good communication and customer service skills
