*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy to support our Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience in managing a team. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a nurturing environment for children. As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of young children while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to staff members.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's learning and development.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Ensure that the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents about their child's achievements.
* Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as early years standards.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care and education provided at the nursery.
*Requirements*
* Level 3 or above in childcare
* Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting, with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity.
* A relevant qualification in early childhood education or childcare is highly desirable.
* Ability to drive initiatives that improve nursery operations and child outcomes.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.

Pay: £29,120.00-£31,200.00 per year
