We are recruiting a Critical Services Shift Technician to join the team in London.\n \nJob Purpose:\n \nTo maintain the building and all equipment and systems in prime condition utilising traditional maintenance methods, predictive maintenance techniques and building analytics.\n \nAll equipment within CBRE's jurisdiction is be maintained at optimum working efficiency and to respond effectively to all defects and engineering requests.\n \nAs the Shift Engineer, you will work in a team of 4 engineers operating in initially a day shift then transitioning over to traditional continental days/nights.\n\nRole Responsibilities:\n\nTo ensure that all Health and Safety and PTW systems are administered correctly.\n\nMaintaining and keeping the buildings mechanical & electrical systems along with all associated component parts in excellent working repair.\n\nRoutine tests, checks and record keeping for all the buildings systems through traditional methods and use of building analytics and predictive maintenance techniques.\n\nMaintain water systems and all records to the highest standard in accordance with L8 Legislation; alongside the designated Water Treatment Engineer.\n\nUndertake regular walk-rounds of Customer areas and plant rooms to note and rectify any defects and to maintain in a clean, tidy and safe environment.\n\nLiaise and arrange sub-contractor support and effectively manage and control all sub-contractors.\n\nTo monitor the buildings environmental temperature, humidity, and space conditions and ensuring that they are maintained in accordance with the business requirement for comfortable working conditions within the office environment using systems within the IFN [Integrated Facilities Network].\n\nTo monitor and adjust as deemed necessary systems within the IFN (BMS, lighting, metering).\n\nProvide innovative solutions to improve building, plant and system energy efficiency.\n\nManage, rectify and record defects through the Customer reporting system, working with and leading a team to ensure all are rectified within SLA timeframes.\n\nEngagement and updating CBRE and Customer stakeholders on all issues and progress.\n\nThey must be flexible in their attitude to work from both a skills diversification and a willingness to work overtime of out of their NWH standpoint.\n\nProvide out of hours emergency call out/escalation on a pre-determined rota.\n\nUse the CBRE Log Book System to store all records and certification for the site.\n\nManage defects to completion; including full investigation, sourcing materials, provision of quotes, raising of purchase orders and arrangement of rectification.\n\nNOTE: Candidates will be expected to work Monday - Friday for an interim period when commencing for site familiarisation, training and induction before moving over to shift.\n\nDecision Making/Budgetary Control:\n\nAbility to make decisions but keeping the CBRE Shift Leader and Engineering Manager informed.\n\nRequirement to obtain quotes for spare parts\n\nSuccess Measures/Objectives:\n\nDemonstrates strong team ethics to ensure all maintenance and repairs are completed and communicated with a risk managed approach.\n\nSatisfaction of the CBRE management and Customer Corporate Services & Real Estate [CSRE] team.\n\nWilling to learn and have a positive attitude to training, both for themselves and others.\n\nDemonstrates energy and enthusiasm to succeed\n\nCore Competencies:\n\nRespect\n\nIntegrity\n\nExcellence in Service Delivery\n\nCommunication\n\nInnovation\n\nAbout CBRE Global Workplace Solutions:\n \nAs one of CBRE's core global businesses, Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) provides end-to-end services to occupier clients across the entire lifecycle of a building.
