KeyResponsibilities:
* Manage all financeoperations including A/R A/P GL Cost Accounting InventoryAccounting and Revenue Recognition.
* Coordinateand direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecastsand report variances.
* Prepare and publishtimely monthly financial statements.
* Ensurequality control over financial transactions and financialreporting.
* Develop and document businessprocesses and accounting policies to maintain and strengtheninternal controls.
* Additional controller dutiesas necessary.
* Develop financialstrategies.
* Oversee the operations of thefinance department including the design of an organizationalstructure and recruiting roles as required to prepare the businessfor future success.
* Oversee the companystransaction processing systems.
* Implementoperational best practices.
* Manage any thirdparties to which functions have beenoutsourced.
* Oversee the companys issuance offinancial information.
* Report financial resultsto the board of directors.
* Monitor debt levelsand compliance with debt covenants.
* Participatein key decisions as a member of the executive managementteam.
Qualifications:
* Provenworking experience as a Financial Controller.
* 3years of overall combined accounting and financeexperience.
* ACCA CIMA or ACA QualifiedAccountant
* Thorough knowledge of accountingprinciples and procedures.
* Experience withcreating financial statements.
* Experience withgeneral ledger functions and the monthend/yearend closeprocess.
* Excellent accounting software user andadministration skills.
* Ability to solveproblems.
* Strong leadership and organisationalskills.
* Excellent communication and peopleskills.
* An analytical mind comfortable withnumbers.
