How you’ll make an impact
You will be responsible for growing and developing Xero’s commercial relationship with accountants and bookkeepers in a defined territory or market. By working with partners in your territory to create and execute a strategy to digitise their practice, you will drive positive outcomes for our partners while contributing to revenue and subscription growth for our business.
What you’ll do
* Manage sales and account relationships with large and mid-tier accounting partners in The North West of England.
* Effectively manage your territory through segmentation and prioritisation of all new and existing accounting and bookkeeping partners.
* Create strategic plans to build a strong pipeline to meet quarterly goals.
* Generate a pipeline of qualified opportunities via strategic planning, outbound calls, emails, field visits, and marketing campaigns.
* Partner with new business teams to land new Xero accounting and bookkeeping partners, growing our small business customer base.
* Build strong relationships with partners using consultative selling and collaborative approaches.
* Lead the development of digital and cloud strategies for existing and new partners.
* Cultivate deep partner relationships through events, workshops, and meetings.
* Stay updated on Xero features through training and webinars.
* Build thought leadership and social media presence, and drive event attendance.
* Maintain all activity records accurately in Salesforce.
Success looks like
* Meeting monthly targets and maintaining high activity levels.
* Tracking weekly KPIs such as meetings, calls, and events.
* Successfully converting partners to Xero solutions.
* Articulating Xero’s value based on partner needs.
* Collaborating with technical teams for workflow solutions.
* Using processes and tools effectively, guided by Xero’s sales methodology.
What you’ll bring with you
* Experience in a fast-paced tech or SaaS environment preferred.
* Proven sales success.
* Field account management experience.
* Understanding of accounting practices and systems.
* Knowledge of Practice and SME software competitors is a plus.
* Enthusiasm for building relationships with accounting firms.
* Ability to quickly establish rapport with accountants.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Confidence in managing complex partner relationships and proactive opportunity identification.
* Strong product knowledge and demonstration skills.
* Teamwork and stakeholder collaboration skills.
* Process-oriented with a sense of ownership.
* Initiative and ability to work independently.
