In the world of recruitment, timing is everything—and that includes our finances. As our new Finance Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, making sure every transaction, payment, and report is spot-on and on time. You’ll work closely with our consultants, clients, and suppliers to ensure our finance function is as agile and responsive as the rest of the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
* 🧾 Own the ledgers – Process sales and purchase ledger transactions for all temporary candidates across our client base.
* 💸 Keep payments flowing – Prepare and process weekly/monthly supplier payments within agreed terms.
* 🔍 Reconcile like a pro – Match supplier statements, chase outstanding invoices, and keep everything balanced.
* 📊 Support reporting – Deliver accurate client reports and assist with month-end and year-end close.
* 📁 Stay audit-ready – Maintain clean, compliant financial records that stand up to scrutiny.
* 🤝 Be the go-to – Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to keep communication clear and efficient.
What You’ll Bring
* Demonstrable experience in a similar Finance Assistant/ Purchase Ledger role
* A keen eye for detail and a love for getting things right the first time
* Confidence using finance systems and Excel
* A proactive, can-do attitude and a team-first mindset
* Great communication skills—you’ll be working with people across the business
