Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Stamford, Lincolnshire
Salary: £36,000 + 5% Bonus
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

This is your opportunity to join a forward-thinking team as a Manufacturing Engineer, supporting operational excellence across a busy production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Senior Manufacturing Engineer in day-to-day improvements across production.
2. Provide engineering input into New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues using Practical Problem Solving (PPS) techniques.
4. Lead root cause analysis and drive robust corrective actions.
5. Facilitate engineering change requests between production and design.
6. Promote a "right first time" culture and champion lean practices.
7. Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures and job instructions.
8. Use data to support decision-making and performance tracking.
9. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and improve flow.
Requirements:
1. HNC or equivalent qualification in Engineering.
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
3. Understanding of lean methodologies and hands-on problem-solving.
4. Comfortable working with manufacturing documentation and procedures.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all business levels.
6. Computer literate (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); confident working with data.
7. Organised, proactive, and passionate about process improvement.
