Job Description
As a Digital Systems Engineer, you will provide implementation support, drive user adoption, and ensure operational optimisation of all business systems.
You will work closely with core business teams and the IT Services department to coordinate digital project implementation, troubleshoot system issues, and drive operational efficiency across the organisation.
Your role focusses on the operational readiness of systems. This involves supporting smooth handovers from implementation, including set up, testing, optimisation, user acceptance, training and go‑live coordination. You will also be responsible for properly configuring, testing, and optimising systems ahead of key events.
Acting as the subject matter expert, you will identify and continually review operational requirements to ensure system optimisation, whilst providing ongoing user support resulting in best practice.
Qualifications
* Experience of change management and user adoption.
* Proven experience in system implementation support and user training.
* Strong hands‑on technical skills with business systems configuration and troubleshooting.
* Excellent organisational and project coordination abilities.
* Outstanding communication skills at all levels.
* User‑focused approach with a passion for improving operational efficiency.
* Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
* Understanding of sports venue operations, hospitality, or events environment would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of any of the following; TriplePlay, Agilysys EPOS, Zendesk Sell, Bylder, Teamcard, Unify, IVVY, Jonas Retail. UZ Gamechanger CMS would be advantageous.

* Identifying opportunities to improve system efficiency, enhance user experience, and maximise system potential.
* Troubleshooting day‑to‑day system issues and coordinating resolutions with relevant departments.
* Supporting the development of the business’ digital roadmap.
* Collaborating with the Data and Insights Lead on system reporting requirements and data quality.
