Overview
We have a 22 month fixed-term, part-time opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to assume responsibility for the strategic leadership and coordination of dietetic services for the Oesophago-gastric (OG) patients within the Surrey-Sussex Cancer Alliance. The focus is to drive project development, streamline pathways and review service delivery across the region for OG treatment.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and coordination of OG dietetic services within the Surrey-Sussex Cancer Alliance region.
* Drive project development, streamline pathways, and review service delivery for OG patients.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, commissioners and external partners to enhance patient pathways and outcomes.
* Support workforce development, training and capacity building within the regional OG dietetic community.
* Represent OG dietetics at regional and national levels as a regional lead.
Qualifications
* HCPC registered dietitian with leadership experience and a strong interest in service improvement.
* Several years’ OG dietetics experience with understanding of the dietetic support required for OG diagnoses.
* Proactive with initiative to develop or improve a service.
Location and terms
The post holder will be based at The Royal Surrey Hospital, Guildford. 22-month fixed-term, part-time role; regional scope within Surrey-Sussex Cancer Alliance.
