Overview of the Role
As a Commercial Operations Analyst, you will be tasked with ensuring that the commercial function is operating in accordance with business targets, measuring and reporting on success of these targets, driving discipline, accountability and cohesion across teams, enabling a sustainable sales performance.
Responsibilities
• Collaborating with finance, marketing, commercial and delivery teams to ensure commercial alignment and accurate reporting.
• Ensuring accurate data capture, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Supporting the development of sales forecasts, performance dashboards, and business intelligence reports.
• Ownership of dashboard quality in relation to commercial performance.
• Analysing commercial data and providing clear, reliable insights and commentary.
• Monitoring and reporting commercial KPIs related to revenue growth, margins, customer retention, and operational efficiency.
• Identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement, translating analysis into clear, actionable recommendations that drive commercial and operational performance improvement.
• Supporting administration in collaboration with the commercial team.
• Supporting annual planning, budgeting, and business review processes.
• Fostering a performance driven and collaborative culture.
Skills & Experience
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with ability to interpret financial/operational metrics. • Track record of managing performance against KPIs.
