ASSOCIATE/ ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR CIVIL ENGINEER - DERBY - SALARY £60k+ plus extensive benefits
An award-winning, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced and driven Associate or Associate Director Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to work on a diverse and technically challenging range of civil engineering projectsfrom bespoke new builds and refurbishments to heritage and conservation developments.
You will be instrumental in delivering innovative highway and drainage solutions, leading high-profile projects from concept through to completion. This is a key strategic hire where youll manage projects, mentor engineers, support business development, and contribute to the leadership of a growing civil engineering division.
What Youll Be Doing
1. Lead the design and delivery of highways and drainage schemes (concept to construction)
2. Produce and oversee technical designs, drawings, and calculations (QBar, attenuation, soakaway, network analysis)
3. Prepare and manage S104, S106, S185, S184, S278, and S38 applications
4. Write and review technical reports such as Flood Risk Assessments, Transport Statements, and Drainage Strategies
5. Provide technical and line management support to a team of engineers and technicians
