Senior Commercial Lead– Wiltshire– Permanent (37 hours per week) – £80,000 – £95,000 per annum – SC Clearance
This role will be responsible for the oversite and management of the contracts and service delivery for a major programme within the defence industry.
You will be highly visible to both senior external stakeholders and the internal team.
You will Work to oversee and manage the highest value contract suppliers as well as helping more junior members of the team to manage their own work. You will be an effective leader and communicator across all levels.
Working Patterns: This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days on site per week.
The Key Responsibilities of a Senior Commercial Lead:
* Lead commercial delivery and teaming arrangements across contracts of all sizes.
* Set and deliver the commercial strategy for your business area.
* Manage governance and risk for the delivery.
* Build strong relationships and brief senior leaders and partners clearly.
* Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts in line with governance.
* Support bids and contract planning while ensuring internal processes are followed.
Below is a list of Key Skills required for the Senior Commercial Lead, however you will not be expected to have everything:
* Strong commercial experience in regulated Defence environments with high-value contracts.
* Skilled in resolving contract, managing change, and working collaboratively.
* Confident communicator across military, government, and industry stakeholders.
* Proven leader of dispersed teams with a focus on delivery and performance.
* Able to work internationally and operate within Defence laws, controls, and export rules.
