Global Technology Solutions 12 Month Industrial Placement 2026 Analyst - Chester
Location: Chester, United Kingdom. Program: Global Technology Program, Industrial placement. Employer: Alliance & Leicester (Bank of America).
Responsibilities
* Deploying and supporting core infrastructure that underpins the daily operations of the entire bank, from worldwide networks to modern workstation platforms
* Design on-premise and cloud solutions used by multiple lines of business, handling billions of dollars of transactions per day
* Work with various platform teams and Business Technology Groups to help build out automated processes
* Partake in global incident, change and event management processes
* Design and develop cutting-edge solutions to drive operational excellence
* Liaise with business management functions
* Learn and develop skills relating to a broad range of technologies, platforms and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes
* Translate business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies
Eligibility
* Candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with completion between September 2027 and July 2028; must be able to provide evidence of completion date if requested
* Minimum 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
* Must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available
* Must have a 12-month placement built into the academic curriculum and be available to join the programme from June 2026 for 12 months (full-time for the entire 12 months)
