Michelle Denny Recruitment Consultancy is working with Citizens Advice Diss, Thetford & District (CADAT) to appoint their next Chief Executive Officer.
This is an opportunity for an inspiring leader with a strong connection to the values of the voluntary and charity sector. CADAT’s work touches thousands of lives every year across Norfolk and Suffolk, and the organisation is now seeking a CEO who can guide it forward – ensuring advice services remain a lifeline for local people while strengthening CADAT’s role as a trusted voice in the East Anglian community.
Whether appointed on a full-time, fractional or interim basis, the CEO will have the scope to shape services, champion social justice and build meaningful partnerships across the voluntary sector and beyond. To succeed, the CEO will bring both strategic vision and a strong local presence, staying closely connected to the communities CADAT serves.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The CEO will build on CADAT’s established reputation, leading with empathy and vision. They will ensure services are sustainable, accessible and relevant, while representing CADAT with funders, local authorities, partner organisations and the wider VCSE sector. This is about more than managing services – it is about influencing change, driving collaboration and ensuring that people in local communities can thrive.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
CADAT is seeking a candidate who brings:

* Charity/voluntary sector insight: experience of the unique challenges of VCSE organisations, such as funding, compliance and stakeholder engagement

* Strategic direction: the confidence to set a course that secures the future of CADAT’s services
* Regional awareness: good knowledge of the East Anglian landscape and the ability to maintain a visible presence locally over the period of appointment
