The Purpose:
Working with and to lead the garden service team, you will coordinate the day-to-day gardens facilities and service workload. Ensuring highest possible standards are delivered every time.
Required Experience:
Operational experience of Waste and/or cleaning operations in a multi-use environment. (D)
Outstanding attention to detail, ensuring all areas are always at their highest presentation. (R)
Experienced in providing exceptional customer experience.(R)

Good IT skills including a working knowledge of Excel and word. (D)

Experience in managing a workload to a time scale.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and to have a proactive way of working.
Able to think outside the box and share new ideas
Knowledge of landscape, groundskeeping or caretaker would be desirable.
Main Accountabilities and Duties:
Working with and leading the team, you will support the coordination of the day-to-day Facilities and Service workload.
Deliver a programme of cleaning and caretaking across the gardens including bins, benches, signs, toilets, pathways etc. ensuring the highest possible presentation standards of the site
Ensure that all waste bins are effectively used and put out and returned for collections.
Periodic checks are carried out, stocks maintained and any issues correctly reported for all toilet areas within retail and gardens.
Co-ordinating planned, preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs
Ensure all statutory compliance activity is completed and suitably recorded.
Support the Service team with ongoing projects as needed.
Support planned event diary with event build, delivery of and breakdowns.
To support Service Manager in their absence with Retail & Garden Service Team
Maintain and deliver a programme of deep cleaning works across the garden – this to include pathways, bin areas, play areas and toilets.
Provide Health and Safety support and ensuring the site is compliant with latest health and safety legislation
To monitor and complete compliance checks
To plan and deliver infrastructure projects and remedials works
Coordinate and support the delivery of cleaning and waste services across the site
To support, deliver and lead on routine maintenance tasks across the estate when asked.
Support the drive towards a sustainable operation and net carbon zero goals
Maintain knowledge and adhere to relevant Group Policies and Procedures, Legislation and Regulations
Develop and ensure safe working practices are always adhered to.
