Job Title: Material HandlerLocation: Cramlington, UKDuration: 12 months contract, (potential to extend)Job Description:The Raw Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, handling, and issuing raw materials to support production operations. This role ensures materials are accurately tracked, properly stored, and handled inpliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities• Receive, inspect, and verify iing raw materials against documentation• Label, store, and organise raw materials according to SOPs and storage requirements• Issue raw materials to production per work orders and batch records• Accurately record material movements using inventory systems or manual logs• Maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle counts• Ensure materials are handled inpliance with GMP, EHS, and safety standards• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) if certified• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of raw material storage areas• Identify and report damaged, expired, or non-conforming materials• Support audits and inspections as required• Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory practicesWork Environment• Warehouse or manufacturing setting• May require PPE (safety shoes, gloves, gowns, etc.)• Physical role involving standing, walking, and manual handlingRequired Skills: + years of experience• Strong attention to detail and accuracy• Good organisational skills• Ability to follow SOPs and work instructions• Team-oriented with goodmunication skills• Ability to lift and move materials (typically up to 40–50 lbs)Degree/Certifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, or manufacturing preferred• Knowledge of GMP or regulated environments is an advantage
