Job Title: Supported Living Manager
Location: Sandwich, Kent
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time – 37 hours per week

About the Role:
Claire at Amber Mace is recruiting for a passionate and experienced Supported Living Manager to lead and manage a supported living service in Sandwich, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established manager or an experienced senior support worker/team leader looking to take the next step in their career.
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high-quality care and support is provided to adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. This is a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference to people’s lives, promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the supported living service in line with organisational values and regulatory standards.
Lead, supervise and support a team of support workers, ensuring effective training, development and performance.
Develop person-centred support plans and risk assessments tailored to individual needs and aspirations.
Ensure compliance with CQC standards, health and safety, safeguarding, and company policies.
Maintain strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage staffing rotas and resources effectively within budget.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Experience in supported living services is essential.
Strong understanding of autism, learning disabilities, and person-centred support.
Confident leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
A flexible, proactive and compassionate approach.
A full UK driving licence is desirable.
Desirable:
Prior management experience in a similar setting is ideal, but we are open to applicants ready to step up into a management role, provided you have the right experience and attitude.
