Commercial Litigation Solicitor

A well-established and growing firm in the East Riding of Yorkshire is seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join its busy dispute resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to take on a varied caseload, develop their career, and benefit from a flexible and supportive working environment.
The Role From a recruitment perspective, this position offers exposure to a broad range of contentious matters, including:
* Managing a mixed caseload of civil and commercial litigation
* Advising on contract disputes, property disputes, debt recovery, and general commercial matters
* Handling cases from pre-action stage through to trial or settlement
* Drafting pleadings, applications, witness statements, and settlement agreements
* Advising clients on alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and negotiation
* Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering clear, commercially focused advice

About You
* Qualified Solicitor with experience in litigation or dispute resolution
* Confident managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
* Commercially aware with excellent client care skills
