What Youll Do
Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
Handle the check-in and check-out process efficiently, following all hotel procedures and completing registration requirements accurately.
Run the daily night audit each morning, you must be competant with cash handling and balancing.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised reception area, adhering to hotel policies and health & safety regulations.
Manage cash handling, telephone bookings, and administrative duties.
Promptly respond to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Collaborate with all departments to ensure a seamless and positive guest experience.
Promote the hotel and its services in a positive and engaging manner, and upsell where appropriate to maximise revenue.
Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Maintain clear communication across shifts and teams by documenting actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
Contribute to the teams success by completing tasks and assisting colleagues as needed.
Stay informed about hotel policies, promotions, and local attractions to provide helpful recommendations to guests.
Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Adhere to company standards, including Dress Code and Appearance guidelines.
Remain flexible to work a variety of shifts as required.
