Technical Manager
Location: Bristol
Sector: Defence / Data Centres / Industrial Construction
Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 + Package
The Opportunity
A great opportunity for a Technical Manager to join a specialist contractor delivering complex defence, industrial and data centre projects.
This role offers involvement across the full project lifecycle, supporting technical delivery from pre-construction through to handover while ensuring compliance, quality and technical excellence.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for:
* Leading technical coordination across projects.
* Managing internal and external design teams.
* Supporting technical reviews, compliance and buildability.
* Managing technical queries and design changes.
* Supporting BIM coordination and digital delivery.
* Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and CDM.
* Supporting pre-construction bids and tender reviews.
* Managing technical risk and value engineering opportunities.
* Liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
About You
* Experience within technical management or design management.
* Strong understanding of construction detailing and technical coordination.
* Experience within industrial, defence or data centre sectors desirable.
* Strong understanding of BIM, Revit and technical software.
* Commercially aware with strong communication skills.
* Degree qualified or equivalent construction background.
