Your new role
As Web Content Editor, we expect the job to play a key role in shaping and maintaining the organisation’s digital content. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you can expect to support the delivery of engaging, accurate and accessible content across the website and associated online channels.Typical duties might include:
1. Updating, editing and publishing web content to defined brand and digital guidelines
2. Producing clear, user‑focused copy that aligns with organisational objectives
3. Managing content workflows and supporting colleagues in preparing material for online use
4. Liaising with technical teams to ensure content displays correctly and enhances user experience
5. Monitoring site performance, ensuring pages remain accurate,pliant and up to date
This is likely to be an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on content work, stakeholder engagement and improving digital user journeys.

What you'll need to succeed
6. Previous experience in a web content, digital editor or onlinemunications role
7. Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
8. Confidence using content management systems (CMS)
9. Ability to adapt tone of voice and present information clearly for varied audiences
10. An interest in improving online engagement and user experience
