Job description: Based in: Diss, Norfolk, IP22 4RG Salary: £35-£37.5k dependant on experience Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 08:30 – 17:00 hrs Travel: Regular travel expected Glazing Vision is a leading manufacturer of architectural glass rooflights and glazed structures. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Business Development Manager to drive our international growth and expand our global presence. This is a key role for someone with a proven track record in a sales or business development position. You will be responsible for managing and growing our international network while also engaging directly with customers, architects, and contractors abroad. What you will do: * Performance and Profitability Reporting: Report on the performance and profitability of all international business activities to the board. * Market Analysis and Entry Strategy: Conduct thorough market analysis and identify new market entry requirements to successfully penetrate new regions. * Network Development: Build and nurture relationships with distributors, fabricators, and approved installers, and implement strategies to expand the network globally. * Systems and Procedures Development: Create and implement efficient systems to optimise international operations. * Performance Reviews and Target Setting: Conduct performance evaluations for international partners and set clear targets and budgets for all international markets outside the UK. * Product Development Opportunities: Identify opportunities for product development and adaptations to help enter new markets. * Strategic Contribution: Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape and execute our international strategy. * Event Representation: Represent the company at international exhibitions and events. * Architect Engagement: Build strong relationships with architects globally and deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations. * Direct Sales and Quoting: Deal directly with customers, provide quotations for both standard and bespoke projects, and follow through to the order stage. Essential Skills and Experience: * Proven experience in a sales or business development role. * A strong technical or construction background is desirable. * The ability to read technical drawings is a significant benefit. * Multilingual proficiency is required, with French, Spanish, or German being highly preferred. * Confidence in engaging with contractors and architects during international travel is essential. Essential Attributes: * Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. * Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain partnerships. * Excellent presentation and communication skills.
