Position: Drainage Engineer / CCTV Operative
Location: Thornham WTW PO10 8DB
Line Reporting Manager: Senior Transport Scheduler
Hours: 06:00am – 16:00pm, 50 hour week
Salary: £12.60ph / £32,760 basic annually. Overtime paid time and a half £18.90. Call out bonus and night work bonus as described.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Drive and operate specialist CCTV underground pipe survey rig, working on private and public land in strict accordance with statutory health, safety and environmental procedures.
* Interpret survey results and prepare comprehensive condition reports to industry standards.
* Undertake basic H&S vehicle checks at the start and finish of each shift.
* Report all defects, accidents and near misses immediately to line manager.
* Ensure all jobs are correctly documented with work tickets submitted at the end of each shift.
* Maintain the driver’s log book in compliance with MOT rules and procedures.
* Ensure the condition of all issued personal protective clothing and equipment remains fit for purpose, clean and free from defects.
* Keep the vehicle and equipment washed down on a weekly basis, free from rubbish.
* Undertake ad‑hoc duties as and when the vehicle is off the road or required to assist other field teams in exceptional circumstances.
* Attend meetings, medical and training courses as required.
Health & Safety
* To take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.
* Co‑operate with the employer or relevant statutory provisions to enable duty or requirement to be performed or complied with.
* Understand and comply with company health and safety policy.
* Carry out company required health and safety site documentation fully.
* Report all health, safety and environmental incidents to the Line Manager within 2 hours.
Qualifications / Competency
* OS19X Qualification Desired.
* Must hold a Full UK 7.5ton Drivers License.
* Standpipe Usage Competency Training.
* Sonde Certificate.
* Flexible working hours, able to work with minimum supervision and remote instructions.
* Polite and friendly manner when dealing with the public.
* Report into management when required and complete work tickets, log books etc.
* Work consistently to high standards of health and safety.
