The appointee will divide their time between undergraduate teaching and clinical infectious diseases with opportunities for audit and some clinical research. The job plan is a 40-hour week plus on-call duties for ID. Opportunities for Medical Education training and postgraduate qualifications; free medical education workshops at Imperial College; to teach on postgraduate courses and on medical simulation training sessions for Foundation doctors.
The post holders will form part of an active and vibrant faculty and will be encouraged to attend and present at meetings and develop on audit projects.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. MBBS - MRCP -IMT2 Sign off (Pre or Post IMT3)

Knowledge & Expertise
Essential criteria
3. Complete Basic General Medical Training
Desirable criteria
4. Experience in infectious diseases in UK and/or abroad e.g. working in developing countries
Teaching

5. Experience of teaching undergraduates

6. Teaching Qualification or Teaching Certificate
Research/Publications

7. To have shown an interest and have been involved in audit projects
