We are now seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Cover Teacher to join their school and ensure continuity of learning across departments when staff are absent. Beginning June 2025.
Duties as a Cover Teacher:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Support pupils to remain engaged and on task
* Provide feedback to subject staff on lesson progress and any issues
* Be a positive role model and uphold the school’s values
Ideal Cover Teacher:
* A confident and adaptable individual with strong communication skills
* Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or youth work)
* The ability to manage a classroom and support a positive learning environment
* Ideally, a degree or teaching qualification as a Cover Teacher.
* A flexible, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in education
