About the Role:
As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering engineering projects from start to finish. You'll work across multi-disciplinary teams, liaising with clients, suppliers, and engineers, while managing timelines, quality standards, and safety compliance.
This is a hands-on and varied role that will suit a driven engineer with strong technical understanding, great organisational skills, and a proactive approach.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Planning and managing production schedules and resource requirements
* Reviewing technical documentation and preparing estimates and bids
* Carrying out site visits for tendering, monitoring, and project coordination
* Overseeing material procurement and logistics
* Leading by example on health, safety, and environmental best practice
* Writing and reviewing Method Statements and Risk Assessments
* Promoting quality standards and assisting with audits
* Managing teams and ensuring discipline and productivity on-site
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications & Experience:
* Engineering background (mechanical/electrical/structural preferred)
* Experience in manufacturing and installation of electrical/mechanical systems
* Marine engineering knowledge is desirable
* Understanding of materials and production techniques
* Eligible for or able to obtain SC-level MOD security clearance
