Your new role
Working on the major highways improvement scheme in the Norfolk region, they require a Sub Agent to support the Site Agent effectively and professionally monitoring and supervise site works including subcontract packages. Delivered in accordance withpany procedures, programme requirements and project specifications.
Some of the duties involved (but not limited to):
1. Produce a 3 month lookahead for your section of works, including more short term 2 & 4 week lookahead
2. Record progress andpare it to planned production for your section.municate this progress with relevant stakeholders.
3. Produce plans for your works section considering sequences, constraints and interfaces andmunicate them with relevant stakeholders.
4. Manage, supervise, train and mentor the site team to enable them to perform their duties effectively.
5. Coordinate supply chain partners to contribute to design solutions at the appropriate time to deliver a right first time design solution that can be constructed with “no in-flight change”
6. Ensure construction issues are raised promptly through the delivery team, with an appropriate level of escalation to determine a suitable resolution
7. Understand the design specifications and drawings for your section. Challenge where relevant.
8. Generate temporary works design briefs to a standard accepted by the Temporary Works Coordinator
9. Collaborate with others to plan your works to minimise health and safety hazards.
10. Carry out regular safety inspections and implement rmended courses of action as identified from progress monitoring and management inspections
11. Set and maintain clear expectations for health and safety with your team and suppliers working on your section.
12. Be familiar with and demonstratemitment to the requirements of the Health & Safety Policies and procedures
What you'll need to succeed
13. Experience in delivering major highways schemes.
14. Subcontract management and programming experience
15. Formal training in Health & Safety and Environmental Management (SMSTS)
16. CSCS Card
