About the role: A new post within The Institute of Ismaili Studies, provides an exciting opportunity for someone with substantial experience in higher education registry services to develop their career at a small institution with ambitious plans to improve the service provided to its students. You will lead and develop a small unit with a critical role in delivering an outstanding experience for the Institute’s taught postgraduate students. You and your small team will be responsible for administering student applications and registration processes, the development of The Institute’s student information system, assessments, academic records, formal procedures for complaints, appeals, disciplinary matters, breaks in study, withdrawals, progression and awards, and statutory returns. What we’re looking for: Extensive experience in managing Registry Services in a higher education setting Strong expertise with Student Management Systems used within the HE sector Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, with the flexibility to tailor communication styles Confident user of IT tools, including databases, spreadsheets, and web technologies Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion within a multicultural environment Desirable: Degree-level qualification or equivalent Experience in managing change and improving systems/processes aligned with strategic goals To apply head over to our careers page and submit your CV and covering letter before the closing date 26 th May 2025.
