Head of Product (Scaleup / SaaS / Design + Delivery)
HelixEHS, Bangor, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
An opportunity to join a dynamic leadership team building an enterprise SaaS business, and help us scale beyond Series A. We’re looking for a Head of Product to take full ownership of discovery, design, and delivery, shaping products that make a real difference.
At Helix EHS, we’re on a mission to transform workplace health & safety from grey, tick-box compliance into dynamic, people-centric experiences. Our interactive, high-engagement safety tools (3D, GIS, AR/VR) designed for enterprise manufacturers, are already driving measurable engagement, especially in the food & beverage sector.
With our first global manufacturing client already onboard, you’ll join as we launch an aggressive growth strategy, refining and consolidating our product suite to deliver maximum impact. This is your chance to define the product vision, lead discovery and delivery, and help shape the future of safer workplaces worldwide.
What You’ll Do
* Define and own the product strategy and roadmap, turning ideas into impactful solutions.
* Lead end-to-end product discovery, from understanding user needs to validating concepts.
* Drive the design and delivery of innovative, high-quality products.
* Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
* Balance vision, innovation, and execution to get products live, adopted, and delivering measurable value.
* Act as the product advocate within the leadership team, ensuring products reflect the company mission and market needs.
What You’ll Bring
* 4+ years in a product leadership role, preferably in a scaleup SaaS environment.
* Proven experience leading product teams and shaping product strategy in a scaleup or SaaS environment.
* Strong ability to turn user insights into innovative, practical product solutions.
* Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with external partners.
* Excellent client-facing and communication skills — able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Enterprise client and software management experience (advantageous).
* A bias for action: take ownership, make decisions, ship products, and iterate quickly.
* Strategic mindset with a passion for building products that have real-world impact.
* Curiosity and creativity, with the ability to challenge assumptions and explore new opportunities.
* You will lead by example, continuing to build on our strong team culture.
Why Join Us
* Grow your career in line with our success.
* Be the voice of product at the leadership table — your decisions influence company direction and market success.
* Grow with a scaling company — take ownership in a high-growth environment, preparing the business for Series A and beyond.
* Work with an ambitious, mission-driven team — no corporate red tape, just innovation, collaboration, and results.
* Shape the future of workplace safety — lead product strategy that improves how people work.
* Drive real impact — see your ideas launched, adopted, and celebrated by global manufacturing clients.
