This stylish and elegant hotel is searching for an enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team, working under a highly talented Head Chef. The role offers opportunities to develop your skills and lead a section in a high-standard environment.
Located in a stunning setting with beautiful views, the hotel promotes a fantastic culture and values staff welfare and well-being. As a Chef de Partie, you will be an integral part of the team, creating high-quality dishes and maintaining high standards.
Your main responsibilities include:
1. Planning and overseeing the daily operations of your section to meet service requirements.
2. Adhering to all health and hygiene standards.
3. Supervising and leading a team of Commis and Demi Chefs.
4. Sampling and observing food to ensure consistency with recipes and standards.
5. Taking orders from the Sous Chef and assigning tasks to team members.
6. Managing stock requisitions and kitchen transfers to maintain high stock rotation.
Requirements for the role include:
* Ideally NVQ Levels 2 & 3, or equivalent.
* Experience in an AA Rosette establishment.
* Background in hotels or restaurants.
* Good knowledge of cooking techniques and styles.
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
