Overview
Role Title: PMO Manager
Duration: contract to run until 28/11/2025
Location: Sheffield, Hybrid 3 days onsite
Rate: up to £460 p/d Umbrella inside IR35
Responsibilities
* Experience of working with Business case support/definition.
* C-Suite level facing within the bank, MD level and above; essential to work with this level of stakeholder and provide delivery assurance.
* Manage a portfolio or background of running small portfolios; this is a portfolio-level engagement requiring the ability to collate asks and information, ask the tough questions, and escalate risks/issues/blockers as needed.
* Strong Excel and reporting skills (VB/macros experience).
* Ability to work at pace and produce high-quality work in a changing environment; strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* Data analysis of project data including performance metrics, financial data, and resource utilization.
* Report generation to provide insights into project status, performance, and outcomes.
* Dashboard development to create interactive and visual dashboards for stakeholders.
* Stakeholder management with clear communication to C-suite level stakeholders; tailored presentations and concise information delivery.
* Presentation skills to explain complex data and insights to different audiences; capable of addressing questions/challenges from senior stakeholders.
* Documentation of processes, methodologies, and project statuses in a clear and structured format.
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong ability to analyse project data and performance metrics, financial data, and resource utilization.
* Proven experience in stakeholder management at executive levels and delivery assurance.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); VBA/Macros experience is a plus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex data clearly.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and produce high-quality deliverables.
