Max lives in his own home in Throop, where he is supported by a dedicated team who help him enjoy a comfortable, active, and fulfilling life. He communicates in his own unique and meaningful way, using a variety of visual supports such as PECS cards, signs, and gestures. These tools allow Max to express his thoughts, choices, and preferences, helping his team understand and respond to him in a way that works best for him.

Max has a wonderful range of interests and enjoys spending time doing things that bring him joy and relaxation, including:

*

Peaceful walks around the beautiful surroundings of Throop Mill.

*

Relaxing in his garden, especially bouncing on his trampoline or enjoying the swing.

*

Listening to music, which he finds calming and uplifting.

*

Weekly outings with his family, something he really looks forward to.

Max receives 2:1 support and relies on his team to help him with daily living tasks. This includes support with personal care, medication, and meal preparation, ensuring he remains safe, comfortable, and well supported in his home.

We are looking for someone who is calm, patient, and confident in maintaining the boundaries outlined in Max’s support plan. The right person will bring a reassuring presence, helping Max feel safe, relaxed, and secure with the people supporting him every day.
