Job Summary: Office Based in York Trustmarque is excited to provide a premium partnership with Pareto whereby you will be given a mixture of sales & technical training across your first 12-15 months in role. You'll be working towards the ITTSA (IT Technical Sales Apprenticeship) which is a professional qualification in sales. You will spend 1 day per week focused on obtaining your professional qualification, whilst learning vital skills needed for the role from our amazing team. You will be at the forefront of the ever-evolving world of technology. You will work with the best experts and specialists in the industry to deliver cutting-edge products and solutions. You will build strong relationships with clients and be crucial as they implement the best solutions for their organisational needs. It’s an adrenaline rush to see your efforts translate into successful deals and happy clients. What you’ll be doing: 1. Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in your assigned accounts. Understand their business needs, challenges, and goals to provide relevant solutions and maximize customer satisfaction. 2. Business Development: Identify new opportunities for growth within your accounts by proactively exploring their IT infrastructure, technology requirements, and industry trends. Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies and plans to capitalize on these opportunities. 3. Sales Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team and other internal stakeholders to develop account-specific sales plans and strategies. Set ambitious sales targets, develop action plans, and monitor progress towards achieving sales objectives. 4. Cross-selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell Trustmarque's products and services within your accounts. 5. Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for your accounts, ensuring excellent communication and responsiveness. Here's what we're looking for: Proven experience in a similar business development or account management role, preferably within the IT industry. Strong understanding of IT solutions, technologies, and services. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach. Assessment day: We’ll be holding an assessment day the week commencing the 15th of April, in our York office. You’ll need to be able to attend in order to be considered for the role.
