Overview
Cycle Centre Mechanic role at Center Parcs UK & Ireland. The Cycle Centre supports a fleet of 3,000 cycles and ensures cycles and equipment are ready to hire to guests. The role works with the Cycle Centre management team to ensure the smooth running of the Cycle Centre and to provide a high standard of service to guests.
Salary: £13.09 per hour.
Responsibilities
* Repair and maintain cycles and equipment hired to guests.
* Train new starters in cycle maintenance and cycle safety; keep training records up to date.
* Monitor parts and stock; update and maintain records as appropriate.
* Assist Cycle Centre management in checking serviced cycles to ensure equipment meets company standards.
* Deliver excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with guests and colleagues.
Hours and Work Arrangement
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Your days and hours may vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. The village is open year-round, so hours include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and New Year on a rota basis.

Essential requirements:
* Good communication skills
* Ability to perform under pressure
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proactive in problem-solving and finding alternatives
* Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues
* Works well in a team
* Full driving licence with experience of driving a trailer
Desirable requirements:
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Experience in customer service and/or cycle mechanic environment
* Cytech Level 2 qualification
