A leading manufacturing organisation in Co. Armagh is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of end‑to‑end supply chain operations across a fast‑paced, high‑performing factory environment. Your new role
As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all supply chain functions within the factory. This includes demand forecasting, material planning, production scheduling, procurement coordination, warehousing, and logistics.
You will lead a dedicated supply chain team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure materials and finished goods flow efficiently through the operation. Key responsibilities include:
Key Duties
1. Developing and delivering the site supply chain strategy aligned with production and business objectives
2. Overseeing demand forecasting, MRP, and production scheduling to ensure OTIF performance
3. Managing inventory levels and implementing controls to prevent shortages or excess stock
4. Leading supplier performance management, including OTIF, quality, and lead‑timepliance
5. Driving lean, cost‑reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain
6. Overseeing inbound/outbound logistics and warehouse operations
7. Ensuringpliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
8. Reporting on key KPIs including inventory turns, forecast accuracy, OTIF, and cost‑to‑serve
9. Leading weekly planning meetings and providing insights to senior management
10. Developing contingency plans to mitigate supply risks
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience in a supply chain management or planning role within a manufacturing or factory environment, along with strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, production planning, and logistics.
Essential Criteria
11. 3+ years’ experience in supply chain or planning roles
12. Experience managing or leading a team
13. Strong working knowledge of SAP / MRP / ERP systems
14. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
15. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
16. Strongmunication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
17. Professional qualifications such as APICS, CIPS, or ILM
18. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or CI methodologies
19. Knowledge of import/export and customs processes
