The Role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our residents throughout the night. You'll provide attentive care, respond to needs as they arise, and maintain a calm, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitoring and supporting residents during the night.
* Providing personal care where required, with dignity and respect.
* Carrying out regular checks and ensuring accurate record keeping.
* Assisting with bedtime and morning routines.
* Responding promptly to any emergencies.
* Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the home during the night.
* Working as part of a team and handing over effectively to day staff.
About You:
* Compassionate, reliable, and patient with a caring nature.
* Able to remain alert and responsive throughout the night.
* Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
* Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
