Pay Rate: £13.50 – £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience & shifts)
Contract: Full-time & Part-time positions available
Shift Pattern:
* Day shifts: 2:1 support
* Night shifts: 1:1 support
Start Date: Paid induction training ASAP
About the Role
We are recruiting a dedicated team of female HCA to assist a female client living in the Cambridge area. The client has complex needs and exhibits challenging behaviours, requiring a structured and consistent support approach.
Good to have: Tracheostomy care, changes and suction.
Oxygen saturation monitoring.
Gastrostomy feeds.
Moving and handling.
Support is provided on a 2:1 basis during the day and 1:1 overnight, so you will never work alone during daytime shifts.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver 1:1 or 2:1 person-centred care depending on shift
* Assist with personal care, household tasks, and accessing the community
* Support the client in managing and regulating behaviour using Positive Behaviour Support strategies
* Promote independence, safety, and quality of life
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and professionals to ensure consistent care
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
* Female applicants only* (Equality Act 2010 – Schedule 9, Part 1)
* Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours
* Resilient, calm, and confident in high-pressure situations
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Full UK driving licence preferred (client may require transportation support)
* Right to work in the UK
* Complex Skills/ Experience
Desirable
* NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
* Training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) or similar
* Experience in lone-working or small-team care settings
