Key Responsibilities
* Operate, maintain, and commission CHP gas power generation systems at client sites across the UK.
* Conduct routine and preventative maintenance, mechanical overhauls, and modify control systems for enhanced performance.
* Diagnose faults, undertake troubleshooting, and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
* Perform performance testing, analysis, and maintain accurate operational and maintenance records.
* Mentor junior engineers and support generator installation phases.
* Coordinate service scheduling and manage maintenance spares cost‑effectively.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients and liaise with contractors.
* Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven hands‑on experience with CHP gas generation systems (e.g., Siemens, MWM, MAN, PSI/Ford).
* Strong mechanical overhaul and control systems modification expertise.
* Confidence working independently with excellent communication, organisational skills, and fault‑finding ability.
* Clean UK driving licence (essential).
* Experience commissioning controls (flows, pressures) and diagnosing control system faults.
* Ideal candidate will be based in Scotland or willing to travel across the region and the wider UK.
