Project Manager (3‑Month Contract) SAP Functional Change Delivery - M&A, Treasury, Core Finance (R2R, P2P, Planning), SI & Vendor Collaboration 2 days on‑site in Windsor About the Role We are supporting a major UK energy provider with a business‑critical programme requiring a Project Manager with strong experience delivering SAP functional changes driven by mergers, acquisitions, and onboarding of new entities. This role works across Finance, Treasury, and multiple SAP functional areas, and is best suited to someone with a core finance background covering end‑to‑end processes such as Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Planning & Budgeting, and related financial cycles. You will collaborate with a Systems Integrator, third‑party partners, and software suppliers, ensuring SAP changes are accurately scoped, designed, tested, and deployed. The role requires 2 days per week on‑site in Windsor. Key Responsibilities Lead delivery of SAP functional changes linked to mergers, acquisitions, and onboarding of new business entities. Work across core finance processes including: Record to Report (R2R) - general ledger, fixed assets, month‑end, reporting Procure to Pay (P2P) - purchasing, invoicing, approvals Planning & Budgeting - forecasting, cost planning, financial modelling Coordinate SAP design and configuration updates with SIs, internal SMEs, third‑party vendors, and SAP suppliers. Ensure alignment between Finance, Treasury, IT, and functional SAP workstreams during entity integration. Manage process harmonisation, data alignment, and system dependencies. Oversee and coordinate UAT, including script creation, defect management, and sign‑off. Maintain RAID logs, delivery plans, documentation, and governance artefacts. Facilitate workshops with Finance, Treasury, and operational teams to validate requirements and ensure clarity of SAP changes.Required Skills & Experience Strong experience delivering SAP Finance (FI/CO) and/or Treasury functional changes. Experience supporting SAP change during M&A activities, onboarding, or organisational restructuring. A solid core finance background, ideally covering: Record to Report (R2R) Consolidation Procure to Pay (P2P) Planning, budgeting, and forecasting Financial controls and reporting Experience working with Systems Integrators, third‑party partners, and software vendors. Strong stakeholder management across finance, IT, and vendor ecosystems. Excellent communication, documentation, and delivery‑focused approach.Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience with SAP modules such as FI, CO, Treasury, MM, or related functional areas. Project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, APM, Agile).
